How Stellarix handles your information.

This notice explains what Stellarix Systems collects when you use this website or send an enquiry, why the information is needed, and the choices available to you.

Effective 26 August 2026

Who is responsible

Stellarix Systems is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact Jacques at[email protected] or021 001 0630 with a privacy question or request.

Information collected

When you submit the contact form, Stellarix receives:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your phone number and the service you need, when you choose to provide them.
  • Your message and the date and time of submission.

Cloudflare also supplies limited network and request information needed to protect the form. The security system uses your IP address for short-term rate limiting and sends it to Cloudflare Turnstile for verification. Stellarix does not store the raw IP address with your enquiry.

How the information is used

  • To receive, review and respond to your enquiry.
  • To send you a confirmation email.
  • To prevent spam, repeated submissions and misuse of the contact form.
  • To keep necessary business and correspondence records.

Stellarix does not add contact-form visitors to a mailing list or sell their details.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate enquiries from automated abuse. Turnstile may process browser, device and network information for this security check. Cloudflare explains that processing in itsTurnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab).

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website, runs the contact endpoint, supplies Turnstile and keeps short-lived security counters. Resend delivers the owner notification and your confirmation email. Review the providers’ notices for more information:

These providers may process information outside South Africa under their contractual and legal safeguards.

Retention and security

Cloudflare KV keeps IP-based rate-limit counters for 10 minutes, email-based counters for one hour, and a hashed duplicate-submission fingerprint for 24 hours. It does not store your message or raw contact details. Stellarix keeps enquiry emails only while they are needed for correspondence, service delivery, business records or a legal obligation.

Stellarix limits access to enquiry information and uses reputable service providers, encryption in transit and layered form security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You may ask Stellarix to confirm whether it holds your personal information, provide access to it, correct inaccurate information, delete information that no longer needs to be retained, or consider an objection to its use. Email[email protected] to make a request.

You may also contact South Africa’sInformation Regulator (opens in a new tab) about your rights under POPIA.

Stellarix may update this notice when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
